Jenny Nathan Simoneaux grew up in metro Detroit and graduated from the University of Michigan in 2006. She began her career as a grassroots organizer for the National Council of Jewish Women and worked on the campaigns of Barack Obama and Senator Gary Peters. Jenny moved to New Orleans in 2010, where she currently lives with her family and works for Tulane University. She served on JWA's Board of Directors from 2016 to 2023.
