Noa Kushner is driven to create new Jewish spaces. After her ordination by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Kushner served as Hillel rabbi for Sarah Lawrence College and Stanford University. She founded both The Kitchen, a religious start-up building a connected, spiritually alive Jewish generation and a new resonant approach to religious life in San Francisco and Hello Mazel, a subscription service of Jewish boxes. Kushner is on the faculty of Wexner Heritage Foundation. The Kitchen has been featured internationally in Haaretz, Tablet, The Forward, and Medium. Kushner has been profiled in SF Magazine’s Power Issue and in the final Newsweek / Daily Beast “Rabbis to Watch” list. Her written work appears in many publications including The Torah: A Women’s Commentary and the Prayers of Awe series.
