#MeToo Resources

As a public history organization, The Jewish Women's Archive (JWA) is committed to uncovering the experiences of Jewish women throughout history (learn more about JWA). If you are looking for resources to support you on your path to healing from abuse or harassment, please contact one of the following organizations:

Ta'amod: Stand Up: Seeks to help Jewish communal institutions and all who work, learn, or worship at them develop cultures of safety, respect, and equity. They offer training and policy development as well as a robust resource bank of materials and referrals in support of Jewish organizations and congregations.

Jewish Domestic Violence Coalition: Provides education and outreach programs and support for survivors of domestic violence in the Jewish community.

Journey to Safety: Provides culturally competent and religiously sensitive services for Jewish and Russian-speaking survivors of abuse.

Shalom Task Force: Offers legal, education, and training resources, as well as a domestic abuse hotline with advocates who speak Hebrew, Yiddish, and Spanish in addition to English.

Jewish Coalition Against Domestic Abuse: Provides prevention and community education as well as clinical support for survivors in the Washington, DC area.

Safe Havens (Interfaith Partnership Against Domestic Violence): Offers education resources and referrals to help faith leaders respond compassionately and effectively to survivors of abuse in their communities.

Loveisrespect: Offers engagement, education, and empowerment to young people to prevent and end abusive relationships.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline: Offers confidential 24-hour call-in and online support for survivors of domestic violence.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network): Operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE, online.rainn.org) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country.

Womenshealth.gov: Provides a list of resources by state on violence against women.
