Rama Zuta

Rama Zuta, the daughter of Yemimah Tchernovitz-Avidar, is an editor of Hebrew books, articles and manuscripts. Zuta received a B.A. in Hebrew literature and history from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She was a public relations officer at the National Insurance Institute and the spokeswoman of the Bank of Israel. She did most of the Hebrew editing in the publications unit of the Bank of Israel and was later appointed director of this unit. As a freelance editor she works with many of Israel’s leading publishing houses.

Yemima Tchernovitz-Avidar was a passionate educator and author of Hebrew literature. Her creative works became classics of modern Hebrew children’s literature, and she has been awarded numerous accolades for her contributions to Jewish literature.
