Raelene Camille Wyse holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Texas at Austin. Her dissertation, “Sounding Jewish Multilingualism: An Aesthetics of Language Survival in Latin American and US Latinx Cultural Production” (2018), includes a chapter on the Yinglish in Aurora Levins Morales’ and Rosario Morales’ Getting Home Alive (1986).
