Laura Weingarten

Laura Weingarten is a professor of Spanish at the Borough of Manhattan Community College/City University of New York. She holds a Ph.D. in Spanish from the University of Maryland College Park and a Masters degree in Latin American and Iberian Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara. She specializes in Latin American Jewish Literature and is an active member of the Latin American Jewish Studies Association.
