Elliot Weinbaum

Elliot Weinbaum is a researcher at the Consortium for Policy Research in Education at the University of Pennsylvania. His work there focuses on the improvement of elementary and secondary public education systems in the United States. His research interests include intergovernmental relations, performance-based accountability, and the effects of policy on school improvement. Recent research projects include a national study of high school improvement programs, a longitudinal look at the impact of state policy, and the impacts of statewide accountability systems on central office function. Weinbaum holds a B.A. from Yale University and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
