David Spaner has worked as a feature writer, movie critic, reporter and editor for numerous newspapers and magazines. He has also been a cultural/political organizer, helping to organize concerts and protests and produce alternative publications. He is the author of Shoot It! Hollywood Inc. and the Rising of Independent Film and Solidarity: Canada’s Unknown Revolution of 1983.
