Elliot Shore

Elliott Shore is head librarian at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton University. He received his B.A. from Temple University, his M.A. from the London School of Economics, his M.S. from Drexel University, and his Ph.D. from Bryn Mawr College. He has taught at Temple University, the New School for Social Research, Rutgers University, and Bonn University. He was a Senior Fulbright Scholar at the University of Cologne. His publications include Talkin’ Socialism: J.A. Wayland and the Role of the Press in American Radicalism and The German-American Radical Press: The Shaping of a Left Political Culture, 1850–1930 (coeditor).

Carrie Bamberger Frank Fuld

The daughter of German Jewish immigrant parents, Carrie Bamberger Frank Fuld was a philanthropist who, in partnership with her brother, department store magnate Louis Bamberger, founded the internationally acclaimed Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. Fuld was also involved in many Jewish philanthropic causes throughout her life.
