Elana Shever with Ariella Shever

Elana Shever wrote the first version of Adeline Cohnfeldt Lust’s biography as an undergraduate student at Brown University, then went on to receive a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2008. She is the author of Resources for Reform: Oil and Neoliberalism in Argentina (Stanford University Press, 2012) and several articles and book chapters. Ariella Lyra Shever is her daughter and a student at the Manlius Pebble Hill School. They live together with her dad and brother near Syracuse, New York, where they are active members of the Jewish community.
