Susan Sapiro
Susan Sapiro is an Associate at DRG, Inc., an executive search firm working in the nonprofit sector. From 1998–2002 she was a Senior Associate at Ma’yan: The Jewish Women’s Project of the JCC in Manhattan, where she created programs and resources on women’s history, spirituality, leadership and philanthropy. While at Ma’yan, she also directed a feminist academic discussion group. She has published articles and book reviews on a number of topics including Jewish women’s studies, women’s philanthropy and work-life issues in nonprofit organizations. Sapiro has a graduate certificate in nonprofit management from Seton Hall University, and an M.A. in Gender Studies and Feminist Theory from the New School for Social Research in New York. She received her B.A. in Sociology, Jewish Studies and Religious Studies from the University of Toronto.
