Aviva Rabinovich
Aviva Rabinovich, an educator, biologist and communication specialist, received her teacher’s diploma at David Yellin Teachers’ College in Jerusalem and an M.Sc. in biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She continued her studies in communication and filmmaking at the Hebrew University.
Rabinovich worked as editor and contributor to the Encyclopaedia Hebraica and Encyclopaedia Judaica. For her work as scriptwriter for WPSX-TV in Pennsylvania she was awarded the 1978 Corporation for Public Broadcasting award for a TV-series on ecology. During 1991–1996 she worked as personal assistant to Shulamith Katznelson, founder and director of Ulpan Akiva.
