Jeremy Murray-Brown is an associate professor in the Film and Television department of Boston University’s College of Communication. He received his B.A. and M.A. in modern history at Oxford University, after which he worked for BBC Television in London and as a writer-director of documentaries commissioned in Britain, Holland, Canada and the U.S.A. He is the author of a major biography of Jomo Kenyatta, the first President of Kenya, and of numerous book chapters, articles and reviews on subjects related to documentary films and the mass media.
