Carla Munsat

Carla Munsat is the founder, copublisher, and editor in chief of Art New England magazine. A painter who specializes in organic abstraction, Munsat has also worked as an actress, an art writer, and an art educator. She did graduate work in art history and studio art at New Castle upon Tyne Polytecnic in England, as well as at the University of California at Los Angeles, where she received her B.F.A.
