Adam Meyer

Adam Meyer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Jewish Studies at Vanderbilt University. He specializes in twentieth-century American literature, particularly the literary intersections of Jewish Americans and African Americans. Recent publications have appeared in The Journal of Popular Culture and The Journal of American Ethnic Literature.

Lore Segal

A respected writer whose work was informed by her experiences as a child refugee from Nazi-occupied Austria, Lore Segal published several books of autobiographical fiction for adults as well as several books for children and translations. She was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2006 and named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 2008.
