Yael Levine
Yael Levine holds a Ph.D. from the Talmud Department of Bar-Ilan University. She is engaged in independent research and has published numerous articles in scholarly journals, focusing on issues related to women and Judaism. She is the author of the Seder companion Midreshei Bitya bat Pharaoh (2004). She has also composed various prayers, among them Tehinnat ha-nashim le-vinyan ha-mikdash (The Supplication of the Mothers for the Rebuilding of the Temple), Tehinnah la-ishah kodem talmud Torah (Prayer for a Woman Prior to Torah Study) and Tefillah al benot Yisra’el she-nirtzehu bi-yedei benei zugan (Prayer on Jewish women who have been murdered by their spouses).
