Bronia Klibanski, who was born in Poland, was a courier of the Jewish Resistance in the Bialystok Ghetto and the Partisans movement during the Holocaust. After the war she studied at the Universities of Geneva and Zürich, earning degrees in art and theater sciences. For many years she worked at Yad Vashem, organizing exhibitions, lectures and research. She edited catalogs of archives and archival collections of testimonies, memoirs and diaries and wrote historical articles on Jewish resistance, underground archives and children. She edited two books on the activities of Mordechai Tenenbaum Tamaroff, commander of the uprising in the ghettos of Vilna, Warsaw and Bialystok, and wrote a book of stories about the ghetto, the Aryan side, partisans and the camps.
