Rita Kashner

Rita Kashner is a novelist, short-story writer, and retired teacher. Most recently she taught contemporary Jewish literature and led poetry-writing workshops for women in domestic violence shelters in Westchester. Her publications include the novels Bed Rest, To the Tenth Generation and The Graceful Exit, stories and articles in magazines and journals, and many book reviews for The Washington Post and Newsday.
