Yehudith Huebner

Judith Huebner, who immigrated to Palestine from Austria in 1939, holds a master’s degree in law from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. From 1967 to 1983 she served as deputy director-general of the Ministry of the Interior and was Israel’s ambassador to Hungary and Iceland from 1983 to 1987. Since 1996 she has been president of Emunah National Religious Women’s Organization, Israel.

Emunah was founded in 1935 under the leadership of Tova Sanhedrai-Goldreich. With its headquarters in Jerusalem, the organization aims to strengthen various sectors of the Israeli community. World Emunah aims to strengthen global commitment to Israel in communities abroad.
