Helene Herman Krupnick is an adjunct professor of Jewish Studies at Stockton University. She received her Doctor of Hebrew Literature (DHL) degree from the Jewish Theological Seminary in Modern Jewish Studies. Her dissertation, entitled "The New-ish Jewish Way of Death," examines the influence of contemporary American culture on the death, funeral and mourning practices of liberal American Jews.
