Dan Greenberg

Dan Greenberg is a critic, teacher and scholar of film. He received his B.A. in English Language and Literature, an M.A. in theater and a Ph.D. in radio-television-film. He has published numerous articles and reviews, many of them while employed as a film critic for thirteen suburban Detroit newspapers. For over thirty years, until his recent retirement, he taught film history, appreciation and production at a suburban Detroit college.

Born in San Francisco, California, actress and entertainer Carmel Myers acted in over seventy films, was an early television talk-show host, led a production company that packaged radio and television shows, held a patent for an electronic synchronizer that controlled studio lights, and imported and distributed French perfume.
