Laura Fattal

Laura Rachel Felleman Fattal has curated the five-site exhibition entitled Veiled Time: Contemporary Artists and the Holocaust with the collaboration of the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education. She is the co-editor with Dr. Carol Salus of the anthology Out of Context: American Artists Abroad. Fattal is an arts administrator, arts educator and art historian and has published in numerous academic journals in the visual arts and arts education. She worked as an independent curator on an exhibition on the Brazilian Jewish artist Nelson Leirner.

Mariana Yampolsky

One of the most prominent and influential artists of Mexico, Mariana Yampolsky grew up surrounded by intellectual thought, socialist idealism, and an interest in global humanism. Yampolsky’s social consciousness was evident in her printmaking, textbook graphic arts editing, and photography. A member of the Taller de Grafica Popular, she exhibited her work throughout the world.

Gego, born Gertrude Goldschmidt, was one of Venezuela’s most creative and ingenious artists. Her sculptures have not only a sense of closure but also a boundlessness erasing any distance between viewer and artist and insisting on generating new perspectives.
