Marilynn Danitz, 1940 – 2010, created a dance-theater performance art company, High Frequency Wavelenghts. She toured her works both in the US and abroad, including Colombia, China, Taiwan, Russia, Poland, Belarus, Bulgaria, Sweden, and Cyprus. She choreographed ballets for international competition and taught and lectured in other countries including Australia, the Philippines, and Qatar. Her dance-theater works collaborated with artists in other media, including poet Allen Ginsberg and photographer Jerry Uelsmann. She served the American Dance Guild for many years, including as President multiple times. She received awards, including Outstanding Dance/Theatre Work of the Year, from Dance Brew, and the NARB’s Choreography Distinction Award.
