Samuel Boussion

Samuel Boussion is a historian and maître de conférences in education at Paris-8 Saint Denis (CIRCEFT-HEDUC). He is a historian of education, focusing on specialized education in France and in Europe in the 20th century and in the development of medical education. He is currently researching the history of villages and republics of children in Europe immediately following World War II.

Juliette Pary

Born in Odessa, Juliette Pary moved to Paris in 1925 and became a respected translator, journalist, and author. She also played important roles in summer camps, youth hostels, and the development of modern educational practices. During World War II she worked closely with child refugees.
