Jennifer Baumgardner

Jennifer Baumgardner is the author of several books about feminism, including Manifesta: Young Women, Feminism and the Future; the director/producer of the documentaries I Had an Abortion and It Was Rape; and the owner of Dottir Press, a feminist publisher. She is former executive director of the Feminist Press, editor at Ms. magazine, and editor in chief of the Women's Review of Books. Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, Jennifer lives in New York City with her husband, two sons, and two Abyssinians.
