Pamela Barmash

Pamela Barmash is associate professor of Hebrew Bible and director of the Program in Jewish, Islamic and Near Eastern Studies at Washington University in St. Louis. She served as the rabbi of Temple Shaare Tefilah, Norwood, Massachusetts, for eight years. She earned a B.A. at Yale University, rabbinic ordination at the Jewish Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. at Harvard.
