Sharon Aronson-Lehavi

Sharon Aronson-Lehavi received her Ph.D. in Theater from the Graduate Center, City University of New York. She is a Fulbright Scholar whose areas of research include late medieval acting and performance, religious theater, the Bible on the modern stage, contemporary political and feminist theater and the work of Rina Yerushalmi. She teaches theater at Tel Aviv University and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Rina Yerushalmi

Theater director and choreographer Rina Yerushalmi, one of Israel’s leading artists, is the founder and artistic director of the experimental Itim Theater Ensemble. Her unique theatrical language is based on visual images that present the classical texts in a new light, making them acute and relevant. Yerushalmi currently serves as Professor of Theater at Tel Aviv University.
