Joseph S. Alper

Joseph S. Alper is professor emeritus of chemistry and has served as director of the Center for Genetics and Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts at Boston. He received his A.B. from Harvard and his Ph.D. from Yale. Alper has published articles on theoretical chemistry as well as on the ethical, political, legal, and social implications of human genetics research and technology.
