• The Race for the Cure breast cancer walk in Portland was scheduled for Rosh Hashana this year.  Rather insensitive, considering "Ashkenazi women have a genetic propensity towards breast cancer." Jewish breast cancer survivors are upset, and rightfully so. [USA Today]
