Singing with her family and managing Flory Jagoda’s appearances have been a central part of Betty Jagoda Murphy’s life. A dance and drama major with a BA from Adelphi University and a successful career as an entrepreneur and inventor, Murphy serves on several non-profit boards focused on the arts, music and children. Now a Nona herself to Liam and his sister Flory, she is striving to transfer her mother’s commitment and love for the Sephardic culture and traditions to the next generation.
