Marilyn Sneiderman is the Executive Director of AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps. She spent most of her life as a community and union organizer. From 1996-2005, she directed the Department of Field Mobilization for the National AFL-CIO. Prior to that, Marilyn served as Education Director for the International Teamsters Union, and on the Senior Faculty of the George Meany Center’s National Labor College. Since 2003, she has served on the National Board of the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights Education Fund. In 2009, she was appointed to the National Jewish Social Justice Roundtable and served on the Selah Network Leadership Team for Jewish Funds for Justice.
